Even though I’m chopping, cutting, and rebuilding, the main inspiration is the original work. When doing a remix like this, the most important thing is to treat the original with full respect. Can you tell us about the process of reimagining a piece like this? There’s a big difference between writing a piece from zero and remixing. The tracks are so beautiful with all the strings, and the combination of Eastern and Western instruments creates amazing harmony. What did you like in the WILD HEARTS soundtrack that you built this track from? Which elements stood out for you? I love how the soundtrack uses traditional instruments like the shamisen.
